CARDI B GUINNESS BOOK OF WORLD RECORDS
THE CHALLENGE
Atlantic Records, Walmart, and RSM needed a high-impact, culturally relevant retail activation to celebrate the launch of superstar Cardi B’s new album, AM I THE DRAMA?. The goal was to execute an exclusive, fast-paced in-store fan meet-and-greet in Cypress, Texas, while simultaneously orchestrating an official Guinness World Record attempt to sell over 2,000 pre-signed albums in an eight-hour window. This required a highly organized logistical strategy to manage massive first-come, first-served crowds, execute real-time receipt validation, and maintain strict security protocols at point-of-sale touchpoints without disrupting normal retail operations.
THE SOLUTION
STN COLLECTIVE designed and executed a turnkey, high-security experiential footprint that transformed the Walmart retail environment into a premium destination-driven fan experience. STN COLLECTIVE engineered a seamless crowd-flow pipeline that synchronized a 1:00 PM album sale launch with a 2:00 PM photo opportunity, deploying robust checkpoint verification to validate physical store receipts prior to queue entry. To maximize throughput and guarantee a premium experience, the team integrated a dedicated professional photography system—utilizing an official event photographer and a streamlined post-event private digital download link—eliminating personal camera delays, securing the Guinness World Record, and capturing high-impact promotional content for the global brand partners.
Guiness Record: The most signed items sold in 8 hours is 2,463, and was achieved by Cardi B, Atlantic Records & Walmart (all USA) in Cypress, Texas on September 23, 2025.
